1. Jan 26,  · The Church hit it big with their album Starfish which had the song- Under The Milky Way, but their early albums are great too. This is a favorite of mine from the album Remote Luxury.

Remote Luxury is the third EP by the Australian psychedelic rock band The Church, the first of two released in With the exception of the untypical, synth-heavy "Maybe These Boys", this is one of the more subdued works in the band's catalogue, carrying on the mix of dreamy guitar and keyboards from the previous year's Seance album, but this time in a lighter, more acoustic setting.

Collecting the contents of two separate EPs into a full-length album for American purposes, Remote Luxury actually makes for a reasonable release, avoiding the miserable drum sound that plagued Séghosvimussopocbiokhapabralogoso.infoinfo band are hardly so groansome, mixing the light synth touches evident on Séance with a tight, sharp postpunk groove. 8. "Into My Hands" is another pretty pop song with an almost folk feel to it. "Month of Sundays" is by far the best track on the album foreshadowing the musical direction the band headed on Heyday and Starfish. After "Month of Sundays" the rest of the album seems second rate although closer "Remote Luxury" is quite the adequate Church instrumental.
